The Eddington Astronomical Society meets at Kendal Museum on the first Thursday of every month at 7pm. Meetings are very informal and are open to everyone, regardless of age or experience. Whether your interest lies in the latest mind-boggling cosmological theories, or whether you simply want to start finding your way around the night sky, you will be made welcome.
As well as talks on space flight and astronomy by members and guest speakers, the meetings feature a round-up of the latest ‘space news’. There is also the chance to get together to observe events such as meteor showers, eclipses and comets. Please see the Eddington Astronomical Society website for more details.
