Carol Davies (BSc. PGCE. Dip Mus. AMA) studied Zoology as a first degree, then postgraduate Museum Curatorship and was awarded the AMA in 1983. She has worked as a professional curator and taxidermist, with specialism in the care and conservation of Natural History collections in several museums. She has been working with the Kendal Museum collections since moving to the Lake District in 1985 with her young family. She is qualified as an advanced skills teacher and have taught both music and science in primary and secondary schools in the Lake District.
She continues to care for the collections at Kendal Museum for one day each week.
