Mitsuyo, who is from Japan, has a background in providing excellent customer service at other museums in England. She wants the Kendal Museum shop to be a place where people come to shop for their loved ones (and to treat themselves!), as well as to admire the museum’s collections. Mitsuyo is also looking to work with local businesses, artists and schools to support the local community, particularly after more than a year of the disconnecting time we have all had to live. She loves the drive to Kendal from just outside Lancaster where she lives with her husband, two children, a dog, a cat and four hens.
